A night at Lava Mountain Resort

When we planned about having our team building at this distant mountanious farm, there were lots of questions raised about the place. Good thing, technology is so profuse that a touch of your finger can have access to information - no matter how far the person or place is. It's evident on their page' photos that the place is great for team bonding, unwinding and chilling out. Additionally, the feedback coming from my friend Kim who had been there was definitely a two-thumbs up. I, of course, trusted her taste. Hahaha!

We made a reservation for an overnight stay 2 weeks prior to the date of our team building (TB). At first, I did find it expensive for 750PHP per pax for just the accomodation. However, it is a price worth paying for. You'll know why. Just keep reading below.

It took us an hour going down and up the hills of Busay heading to Brgy. Bonbon. The rocky road and uphill ride of the jeepney made it more kinetic. I'd say the travel itself was already a riveting experience. Everyone would absolutely give their nods to me!

When we reached the place, it brought back memories of coziness with a bit of exhaustion. Having to see the tall old trees, the flowing river, the inviting pool and the spacious bathrooms,  were all worth it.

One of the areas our team found it amazing was the kitchen. We paid a thousand bucks to use their kitchen tools since we decided to bring our own food. They have all types of utensils that are necessary for cooking and preparing the food.

After everyone's stomach was full, we could never say No to the chromatic swimming pool. Since it sources from a spring water, it was as cold as ice. But the cold didnt really bother us anyway! because OLAH! the bottles of tequila were there to give a counterbalance. Hahaha..
It'll never be absent in TB's, you know.
I will not provide more details to what happened for the rest of the night. It made me laugh hard remembering the moments. Oh yeah!

The next day we prepared a lavish breakfast to get ourselves ready in going to the river. The massage-like flowing water gave a relaxing feeling. We couldnt get enough of the natural jacuzzi which made the experience more exciting.

The realization came to me when we were heading back home that the time spent was fleeting in that wondrous place. We had to check out at 10am since another group made a reservation. Ugh! Nevertheless, I had the most stupenduous team bonding. I bet all of my teammates had the same feeling. This is a farm where you can get instagrammable spots and picturesque views. At the back of my mind when we arrived in the city on Sunday noon, I whispered 'see you soon and I LAVA you!' (Jimah!!)
