Durano Eco Farm Carmen City

Every year, I make it a point to travel alone. Before the year 2017 ended, I did it! For some it may sound scary, but some finds it nervy. It takes courage, confidence and trust in yourself that you can do it. The best preparation is to always research about the place. What are the do's and dont's, the danger zones, the culture and the best route. Nevertheless, in my case, it was an abrupt decision to visit such a far place all alone. While on the bus going to Carmen, I did a little bit of research about the whereabouts of the place. Carmen is just an hour away from cebu city. I took a motorcycle (habal-habal) going to Durano eco farm from the carmen public market. Lakawon island Cadiz City

This island reminds me of a handful of memories. It's been more than 2 months since we had our escapade. But I am Not going to narrate our entire bad and good experiences with my pals in this hot, relaxing place. Uhmm. I promise not to go into the specifics. Hehe. It took us more than an hour to reach the Cadiz terminal from Bacolod. We rode a tricycle going to the port which would take us to the secluded island. Their registration area is pretty much up to date with technology. Amazing!  The 30 min travel by boat going to the island is somewhat a roller coaster ride due to the high waves and the motorboat is kinda small. The water splashing in front and sideways of the banca makes the ride even more exciting. Finally we reach the Lakawon dock, it was a hot sunny day! I felt like I was so close to the sun.
