Malapascua - Kalanggaman with a love story

Image
For the most part of my journey, I always look forward to the sunsets and sunrise. The photo above was taken at Malapascua with my bro trying to capture a picture of the sun settling down. I've read many posts that sunsets at Malapascua are the best. Indeed, the sun's round-shape form was perfect with its vibrant colors. It was superb! One shouldnt miss it! Apart from this wondrous beauty at the horizon, you wouldn't say no to the white sand and turquoise water too.                        However, all these awesome creations came with a cost — time, money and patience. Why I said so? Sometimes, plans don't go well as it was organized. Let me tell you what happened during our journey. We took the vhire at Northbus terminal around 230 am going to Maya port. It was roughly a 3 hour non stop travel by van. We were asked by the van dispatcher where we would want to be dropped off : New maya or Old maya port? We chose the latter. I made the wrong decision. Apart from the Kalanggaman island being a splendor, some things happened out of the blue which tested my adaptability and decision making skills. Really? Yes, it sounds OA. Truth be told, you'll get to learn new skills when travelling. Kalanggaman is about an hour from Palompon Leyte. Since i was travelling from Cebu, I spent almost 6

When we visit new places, there is always a significant thing or event that stands out among all the instances that happened. After months passed by, it brings us into a nostalgia when we come across of the same scenario. Whether it be good or bad memory, it's one unforgettable experience which let us enjoy life in a unique way, get out of our comfort zone and bring lessons to teach us how to handle unexpected situations if it occurs the next time. Just recently, I had the most fascinating travel in this turtle shape island Carnaza, Daanbantayan, Cebu. The video at the bottom page tells it all. Before we headed to our destination, we researched a few things about the island. Thus, I kept in mind a few reminders during the escapade. First, there is no electricity in the island so I brought a headlamp and tentlamp with me. Second, there are no restaurants accessible which we ensured to plan our meals for the rest of our stay in Ecopark. Third, the waves are peculiar around the
