The waves at Carnaza Island

When we visit new places, there is always a significant thing or event that stands out among all the instances that happened. After months passed by, it brings us into a nostalgia when we come across of the same scenario. Whether it be good or bad memory, it's one unforgettable experience which let us enjoy life in a unique way, get out of our comfort zone and bring lessons to teach us how to handle unexpected situations if it occurs the next time. Just recently, I had the most fascinating travel in this turtle shape island Carnaza, Daanbantayan, Cebu. The video at the bottom page tells it all. Before we headed to our destination, we researched a few things about the island. Thus, I kept in mind a few reminders during the escapade. First, there is no electricity in the island so I brought a headlamp and tentlamp with me. Mt. Naupa Y El Tequila

In every experience we encounter in life, there is always something to learn. This usually brings back memories - those that makes us grin or frown and even cry, but I'd choose the happy ones. Sometimes we've done things, we thought we couldnt do. Then realize after all that happened, you were able to overcome something unusual and prove to yourself that "Wow I've done it!"  Sounds familiar? Right? Our Mt Naupa climb was one of those events which was absolutely worth remembering and worth doing.  As I write this, memories flash back one on top of the other. It was a short-notice hike with my pal, Kim, on a Wednesday afternoon of March.
